Welcome to our Blue room (3.5-4.5 year olds)

Our Blue Room is specifically designed for our older 3.5 year olds and younger 4.5 year olds.  Our daily schedule gives each child the opportunity to create, explore, problem solve and learn personal interaction skills.  These schedules focus on exploration, independence, gross and fine-motor development and nurturing emerging school readiness.   

We believe that it is necessary to teach young children using real materials and through hands-on, direct experiences.  Children develop a positive self-concept through a balance of self-directed and teacher-directed activities.  Our well-trained teaching staff designed a curriculum to engage, excite and challenge the children. They work closely with every child's parents, providing regular updates on each child’s progress, and advising Parents  as milestones are reached.

7:30am-8:30
Early bird drop off in Purple Room 

8:30am-9:00am
Health/Temperature checks/Morning greetings, table games, puzzles, activity toys, and coloring inside Blue Room classroom. 

9:00am-9:30am  
Outside Play Time

9:30am-10:00am
Snack Time

10:00am-10:20am
Morning Circle Group Time! Calendar, weather, discuss theme, story time, and reviewing letter and number of the week.

10:20am-11:20am
Skill Focus Activities-Creative art, theme based activity, music and movement, singing, show and tell, identification of feelings, skill building activities, group problem solving games, and learning to follow directions. Developing communications skills.

11:20am-12:00pm
Outdoor fun in the fresh air, exercise, practice in balancing, climbing, riding, running, jumping, ball skills, obstacle courses, and slide fun. Developing large motor skills.

12:00pm-12:30pm
Lunch time socialization while enjoying a nutritional meal.

12:30pm
Half day children are picked up

12:30pm-2:30pm
Nap / Rest quiet Time 

2:30pm-5:00pm
Afternoon snack, free play and activities out on the playground, arts and crafts, games auditory associations, songs, stories, nature and discoveries, friendship bounding, parent pick up.

5:00pm
School Closes
