Welcome to our Purple Room  (4-5 year olds) 

   Our curriculum is tailored to encourage the developmental skills needed to excel in  every aspect of learning.   The program includes a wealth of science, math and language activities.  Art, imagination play, music and dance are a primary focus of our play-based curriculum.  Our  teachers work closely with parents, providing regular updates on each child’s progress.  Parents are advised as milestones are reached.

Kindergarten Readiness provides California's young children with the time necessary to develop the social, emotional, and academic skills needed to successfully prepare them for kindergarten. 

KR (Kindergarten Readiness) is the a kindergarten program that uses a modified kindergarten curriculum that is age and developmentally appropriate for your child.

Sample Daily Schedule:

8:00am - 9:00pm
Arrival, Health/Temperature checks & Free Play

9:00am-9:30am 
Morning Circle time! Calendar, math, music, singing, identification of feelings, art, listening, talking, stories, discovery in science and nature, puppetry. Developing communication and creative skills. Going over weekly theme and going over plans for the day.

9:30am-10:00am 
Outside Play Time

10:00am -10:30am
Hand washing & Snack

10:30am-11:30am
Learning Centers (writing, manipulatives, theme discussion and activity, art, science, math, educational games, music & movement) 

11:30am-12:30pm
Outside Play Time

12:30pm-1:00pm
Lunch Time

1:00pm
Half Day pick up time

1:00pm-2:15pm
Nap/Rest Time/Quiet time

2:30pm-4:30pm
Free Play indoors (Teachers apply sunscreen after nap) / Free play outside / Afternoon snack / Clean up / Good byes for the day

We are closed. Please pick up on time by 4:30, no later.
